****   Our 2nd Trial of 2023 took place on the Holy Lake, Belturbet, Co Cavan on Sunday 10th September 2023, results available here.

Our 3rd Trial of 2023 will take place on Lough Rowan, Fenagh, Co Leitrim on Sunday 1st October 2023.  Entries now being accepted.

Welcome to The Irish Ladies Flyfishing Association website.

The ILFA is the Irish national body for ladies fly fishing in Ireland.  It represents, supports and trains lady anglers throughout Ireland.  The aim of the Association is to encourage lady anglers to participate in fishing events, to join the various fishing clubs and activities, and in general to promote ladies angling.

 
The Association organise fishing and social events throughout the year all over the country.
 
Each year the Association helps to fund a team to compete in the Ladies International against teams from England, Scotland and Wales.  A series of four trials are used to select the team to represent Ireland at the Ladies International Flyfishing Championship.
