3rd Trial on Lough Caragh, Co Kerry

(September 22, 2011)
7 women enjoyed a lovely day's fishing on Lough Caragh - a beautiful wild brown trout and sea trout venue between Killorglin and Waterville in Co Kerry.  The long distances travelled by most women were well worth it.

This lake is spectacular and crystal clear.  It was a great fishing day - a nice breeze and overcast.  We had been told the lake was fishing really well and we weren't disappointed. After a late night socialising everyone blew off the cobwebs very quickly as fish were rising all over the lake.

Susan and Hazel watched 2 other anglers catch and release a 15lb salmon close by - a rare treat.

Julie had a lovely seatrout - carefully returned
