Vartry Ladies Flyfishing Open Day - CANCELLED
(November 06, 2022)Unfortunately, the Ladies Open Day organised by Vartry Angling Club for Sun 6th Nov 2022 has been CANCELLED due to flooding which has become a health & safety issue. We will let you know about re-arrangements as soon as we hear from the organisers in Vartry Angling Club.
Varty Angling Club, Ashtown Lane, Wicklow Town, Eircode A67DY88 are holding a Ladies Flyfishing Open Day on Sunday 6th November 2022, in association with the Wicklow Sports & Recreation Partnership, Wicklow County Council & Wicklow Town Municipal District. This event will run from 10:00am to 3:30pm and it is an ideal introduction to fly fishing for beginners and also suitable for novice anglers and all are welcome. Some of our own ILFA members, including Edel Decies and Almha McDonnell, are involved in the event and recommend it to any ladies wishing to take up flyfishing or novices wishing to improve their skills. They would also welcome support from other experienced ILFA members on the day. Anyone interested in taking part should register with Vartry as soon as possible.
